1.Introduction about bio soluble ceramic fiber
The bio soluble ceramic fiber is also called bio persistent fiber; these two names are the same fibers. Like American called braided ropes but European call packing, they are also the same products. But a lot of users now call it bio soluble fiber; they saved the “ceramic” in this word. As the more simplified the words are easier to spread.
2.Why the bio soluble ceramic fiber should be invented?
We have used the ceramic fiber in the high temperature thermal insulation a lot of years since last century. For the past 30 years, nearly the entire world began to focus on the environmental protection. For ceramic fiber, it is an excellent substitute for the asbestos. But the scientist could not confirm the ceramic fiber in the human body will not cause cancer. Another way to say, the scientist could not approve or deny the ceramic fiber will cause cancer. Based on the situation of the people begun to focus their health, a company starts to study another fiber.
That is the fiber we called bio soluble ceramic fiber, which is the similar with ceramic fiber in the physical performance but it could be biodegradable in the human body.
3.How to approve the bio soluble ceramic fiber could be biodegradable?
The lab report is too obscure for normal clients. Let me explain it. There is evidence to prove that the ceramic fiber will stay in our lung, stomach and other internal organs for a very very very long time. Just the scientists could not approve this will cause the cancer. But after injecting the bio soluble ceramic fiber into mice body, bio soluble ceramic fiber could automatic degrade to the original half for a few weeks later.
4.Why should it be bio soluble ceramic fiber?
Simply speaking, all the high temperature insulation fibers have the same internal hollow structure. The air in the hollow plays the role of heat insulation. Then if the fibers’ main chemical composition has silicon oxide (SiO2) or/and aluminum oxide (Al2O3), its physical performance usually could be high temperature. So we can imagine that, the scientist should find a fiber whose chemical composition meet the conditions above and should be biodegradable. Then, they found that fiber, it is one kind of Alkaline Earth Silicate fiber, make it internal hollow structure. This is bio soluble ceramic fiber come from.
