Ceramic fiber products have a half-century history since their advent. Chinese ceramic fiber began in the early 1970s. In the first ten years or so, it was mainly produced by the process of "electric arc furnace melting, primary air injection, and wet-molded felt". What is ceramic fiber?

Ceramic fiber is made by melting high-purity clay clinker, alumina powder, silica powder, chromite sand and other raw materials in an industrial furnace at high temperature to form a fluid. Then use compressed air to blow or spin it into a fibrous shape with a spinning machine, and collect the fiber through a fiber collector to form ceramic fiber. Ceramic fiber can be further processed into ceramic fiber blanket, ceramic fiber board, ceramic fiber paper, ceramic fiber cloth, ceramic fiber ropes and other products. Ceramic fiber is a kind of high-efficiency insulation material, which has the characteristics of light weight, high strength, oxidation resistance, low thermal conductivity, good flexibility, corrosion resistance, small heat capacity and sound insulation.
